      Tours at Historic Grovewood Village

      Did you know that Grovewood Village once housed the weaving and woodworking operations of Biltmore Industries? Learn about this location’s rich craft history and the famed homespun fabric worn by U.S. presidents, first ladies and many American icons.

      Docent-led tours are offered Wednesday - Saturday at 1pm during April – November. Your tour includes a visit to the historic Dye House at Grovewood Village (usually closed to the public), where you'll peek into the past and view the original looms, carding machines, spinning mule and dye vats used to make the famed Biltmore Handwoven Homespun.

      Cost: Free - Donations are appreciated.
