      THE SEATED FOOD TOUR DINNER SERIES: Part ~ 1 "NO RESTRICTIONS" Date: August 22, 2019 Time: 6:00pm - 9:30 pm Venue: The Asheville Masonic Temple  No Restrictions is the first in a series of 10-course, "Seated Food Tour" dinners featuring chefs, cooks, mixologists, food makers, growers, and other local culinary scene luminaries that Asheville Food Tours works with through their many Restaurant Partners. No Restrictions will feature four of Asheville's most exciting Chefs, as well as a local sommelier, and of course the expert curation and narration of Asheville Food Tours' guides, Stu Helm, Paddy Riels, and other food and beverage "ambassadors," who will be stationed at each table. Your host, Shay Brown will welcome you to the historic Asheville Masonic Temple, where you will be seated, and then treated to a classic, 10-course meal in the traditional Edwardian style Featuring:  Chef Steven Goff of AUX Bar, Brinehaus Mrat + Provisions Chef Jay Medford of The Underground Cafe with Doughp Doughnuts Chef Michael Achberger of Daphne at Twisted Laurel Chef Susie Pearson of Sunshine Sammies Sommelier Melissa Ward of Rustic Grape Ten Traditional Dinner Courses 1. Hors d’Oeuvre / Cocktail - served at 6:00pm 2. Soup / Wine - served at 6:20pm 3. Fish / Wine - served at 6:40pm 4. Entrée / Wine - served at 7:00pm 5. Removes - served at 7:20 pm 6. Sorbet / Craft Soda - served at 7:30 pm 7. Roast / Wine - served at 7:50pm 8. Salad / Wine - served at 8:20pm 9. Sweets / Fernet / Coffee - served at 8:40 10. Fruit and Cheese / Port - served at 9:00pm The full menu will be revealed on the evening of the dinner, and each course will be described in detail by the chefs and the local food scene experts who will be seated at every table. For those who don't drink wine, a selection of hard ciders, craft beers, and non-alcoholic beverages will be available. IMPORTANT: This is a fixed menu, and is not recommended for anyone with dietary restrictions or food allergies of any kind. Please be aware that the evening's offerings may include some or all of the following: Pork, beef, chicken, fish, shellfish, peanuts, tree nuts, avocado, mango, nightshades, dairy, gluten, et al. While everyone is welcome to join us, we apologize that we can not substitute or omit any specific dishes or ingredients from the evening's fare. The Seated Food Tour dinner series is co-produced by Stu Helm: Food Fan and Shay Brown Events in cooperation with The Asheville Masonic Temple and Asheville Food Tours.
