Join Audubon Washington’s Christi Norman and prepare to be inspired by a community science partnership between Audubon chapters, Audubon Washington, and the Department of Fish and Wildlife that moves the conservation needle and shares the wonders of the shrub steppe ecosystem. The culmination of this 5-year research project by 200+ volunteers from 13 chapters working together will be new species distribution maps for sagebrush obligate species, just in time for assisting in siting new renewable energy projects in eastern Washington’s Columbia Plateau. Co-presented by the North Cascades Audubon Society (NCAS).
Cost: $5 suggested donation/Museum & NCAS members free
