The Governor’s Art Show & Sale

Opening Sept. 26, the 29th annual Governor’s Art Show and Sale - one of the largest fine art show to exclusively feature Colorado artists - will bring together 58 of the state’s most talented artists and two Legacy Artists, for a month-long exhibit at the Loveland Museum. Due to COVID-19, this year the art sale will be exclusively online.

The art show has established itself as one of the top two art shows in the state, and among the many reasons Loveland is at the heart of the arts in Colorado.

      How to purchase art
Online sales will open to the public at noon on Sept. 26. Art purchases, artist previews, and images of artwork for sale will all be available on and on the Governor’s Art Show Facebook page and Instagram profile.

How to see the show in person
The month-long show will be held at the Loveland Museum, opening at noon on Sept. 26. Exhibit admission is $7 and free for museum members. The museum will be able to accommodate up to 50 visitors at a time to ensure proper social distancing. Staff, volunteers, and visitors will be required to wear face coverings during the initial reopening phase. Patrons who are in one or more of the high-risk categories are encouraged to visit the museum during special hours on Wednesdays from noon – 1 p.m. and Fridays from 2 - 3 p.m. However, seniors and people with serious medical conditions are encouraged to see the show through a virtual tour that will be available on the website.

The Governor’s Art Show is presented by Loveland and Thompson Valley Rotary Clubs and endorsed by the Governor of Colorado. Net proceeds will benefit Rotary-sponsored charitable projects and causes. One-third of net proceeds will go to the Thompson Education Foundation's Homeless Assistance Fund and additional funds will go toward scholarships for local art students.

The goal of the Thompson Education Foundation’s Homeless Assistance Fund is to ensure education stability and success by providing support and assistance to students and families in homeless situations.
