      Naples Concert Band Holiday Concert in the Park

      Conducted by Harris Lanzel, NCB’s 49th season opening performance will be held on Sunday, December 6, 2020 from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm at The Cambier Park Band Shell located at 755 Eighth Ave. S in Naples, Florida, and will be presented by a smaller 40 piece socially distanced band. Attendees will find socially distanced circles painted on the ground, and every effort will be made to provide a safe and enjoyable experience for everyone. The December Holiday Concert in the Park will be sponsored by The Naples Zoo, sponsored by Craig and Kathy Fenton.

      During the December 6th concert, a Christmas vocal quartet will entertain with “Do You Hear What I Hear?” and “On With the Snow.” Craig Greusel will perform “Is there a Santa Claus?” and Jenny Bintliff will sing “I Saw Mommy Kissing Santa Claus.” “Sparkling Lights,” “A Mad Russian’s Christmas,” “Rhapsody for Hanukkah” and “The Polar Express” are a few of the other selections that will enhance this year’s Holiday Celebration.

      Admission to all Naples Concert Band performances is free, with donations appreciated. Donations received at each concert help defray expenses and help with The Band's Scholarship Fund, which has provided $122,650 in scholarships to student band members since its inception in 1983.

      For 49 years, the Naples Concert Band has entertained Southwest Florida residents with memorable Sunday Concerts in the Park. The 2020 -2021 season’s complete schedule and repertoire list can be found at www. naplesconcertband.org.
