      Summary: Dr. Derrick Drakeford presents his NSF Funded Research Outcomes and trains your facuty how to help each student find clarity on their purpose. This training is for Faculty and Staff members at Institutions who plan to purchase an annual license to teach the proprietary Purpose University Curriculum. At this 2-day training, participants will learn the trade secrets on how to effectively teach and coach the Purpose University curriculum at your institution. This training occurs annually, and is required to teach the Purpose University curriculum at licensed institutions. Location: The Franklinton Center at Bricks is a Social Justice Retreat Center. Nestled in rural Whitakers, N.C., Franklinton Center at Bricks is a former slave plantation that was transformed into one of the first accredited schools for African Americans in the South. Today, it is a conference, retreat, and educational facility focusing on social justice advocacy and leadership development. Required readings before training: 1) Finding Your Purpose in 15 Minutes,2) Starting Your Business From the Unemployment Line, 3) Fundraising for Nonprofits, 4) P5 The Five Secrets to Successful Grant and Bid Proposals, and 5) Inclusion: the Art of Story Listening.
